While we are an active performing big band (available to play any type of event from galas, fund raisers, festivals, you-name-it!!), we also strongly support and encourage young players in the high schools via our wildly successful projects: "MJO Presents" collaboration with local high school jazz ensembles and our MJO All-Star Big Band. The third piece of our education emphasis is our Guest Artist Program. We have featured two guests to date, Wayne Bergeron - Nov 2007 and Andy Martin - Nov 2008. Eric Marienthal will join us in Nov 2009.
